Help us celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the

Harding West  '60s Reunion at Ocean Drive, SC  !!  

October 17 - 19, 2013     

Can this possibly be true??!! Our first "organized" reunion was held in 2004 at Ducks, so count it up if you must.

 '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, '11, '12...'13. Yep, this will, indeed, be the 10th annual, combined Harding West '60s Reunion!

This calls for a major celebration. Not that the first 9 years weren't special, mind you. This year just needs to be even more memorable, don't you think? Your planning committee has already been hard at work laying the groundwork for just such an event. In fact, we had our second meeting last Sunday, April 28. Friends, let me tell you, your committee is more excited than ever. They are coming up with new ideas, tweaking old ideas, doing everything possible to ensure this year is the one you'll always remember.


Let me share this with you. Last October, over 130 of you answered our survey after the 2012 event. Your responses were tallied by category and addressed at our first meeting this year. You spoke ... we listened. Your ideas and opinions do matter! You'll see this at our reunion in October. 


Here are some highlights of what you can expect.


       Accommodations at The Avista Resort are available at very competitive rates for our group.  You may begin  reserving rooms now by calling The Avista at 1-855-710-4941. Our Group Code # is 1757452. A minimum stay of 3 nights is necessary to receive our special rates. You may book up to 3 additional days before or after our reunion and still get our lower rates.         You may check in Thursday afternoon and avoid the lines on Friday. Early arrivals will find many of our "regulars" at Duck's on Thursday evening "warming up" for Friday and Saturday. Join us!


        Back by popular demand:  our school store, the photo booth, cheeseburger voucher, live deejays, our roving photographer, class photos, live entertainment, live deejays, "taxi" service and more.


        Once our scheduled activities have all been confirmed we will post them on our website for you to view. Check regularly at 



Speaking of our website, you may now visit and submit your RSVP's and online payments.  Please do us a huge favor.  When you decide to RSVP/pay, please fill out the RSVP form first! This is extremely important!!  And fill it in as completely as possible. You may then pay online, or you may mail a check later. Just submit the RSVP first, please. We do not mail receipts or "tickets". If you pay by credit card, your statement will show a charge to MyEvent.com.  All necessary "passes", etc. will be waiting for you at Duck's when you arrive.


Many of you "faithful" attendees have expressed a desire to "help out" in some way. If you feel so inclined, you may let us know on your RSVP form. Just answer "Yes" to question #2. Someone will contact you in the near future. Being a volunteer enables you to be the first to meet and greet some of our friends as they arrive. Doing this for a couple of hours gives you great satisfaction and helps us immensely. Thanks in advance for considering this.
